Missions
Bon Air United Methodist Church offers support through our mission program to local and international organizations. Our support is both financial and through voluntary labor as needed. Below is a sample of our involvement.

Combating homelessness and providing for housing needs

Change the World RVA – provides support to local students who are homeless

Joy House – provides transition services and housing for persons leaving CARITAS

CARITAS- provides food and shelter to local persons who are homeless

Habitat for Humanity – Provides new and renovated homes to families with lower incomes at an affordable cost
Providing food and clothing for those in need

Belmont Community Resource Service – provides food and clothing to families in need

Sherbourne Food Pantry – provides food to families in need

Centenary Lunch Program – provides a free lunch to local citizens in need

Shalom Farms – grows crops to supply the food banks and other outlets for persons who are food and nutrition challenged
Supporting friends with developmental disabilities

Heart Havens – provides homes and community living for adults with intellectual and other developmental disabilities
Support for education in our local and international communities

Chalkley Connection – provide support in many ways to the students, faculty and staff at Chalkley Elementary.

Abukloi School – located in South Sudan, Abukloi provides secondary education and meals to over 600 students with the goal of strengthening and securing their nation’s future
